The Puppies

I continue to keep up with the Shiba Inu puppies at

They are growing and have been given collars which identify them. "Stevie" was the puppy I fell in love with for "his" white striped nose and his head movements that reminded my of Stevie Wonder. I found out today that "Stevie" is actually Charlotte. It's been fun watching them grow. They are becoming much more active.

The six Shiba Inu pups (3 boys and 3 girls) were born on Thursday, April 14th, 2011. This is the third, and final, litter by their mom, Kika.

Chozen (aka “Zen”) - Black collar
Meaning – Independent/Aloof

Chame - Green collar
Meaning – Playful/Rascal/Mischievous

Chikara - Blue collar
Meaning – Powerful/Strength


Girls

Chisaki (aka “Saki”) - Red collar
Meaning – A thousand blooms

Chiyoko (aka “Yo-Yo”) - Purple collar
Meaning – Child of a thousand generations
